The House Medic Charlie Etheridge 478-361-7618 It’s hard to express how happy we are with the job that Charlie Etheridge and his crew did on renovating our bathrooms. They were able to do the half-bath before Christmas because another client had to shift, so he had some time open to do that small job. This is how pleased we were – I didn’t want to write this review after the half bath was completed because I was afraid he would be swamped with so much work that he might not be able to get to the full bath in the middle of Jan. I’m fairly critical, but there is nothing to criticize here. Mr. Etheridge and his crew were professional in every way. On time every morning, cleaned up every evening and worked hard and with thought and precision in between. The very reasonable price that he quoted and the price that he charged was the same – even though he took on some extra projects that weren’t in the estimate. Not small projects either. This is an honest, hard-working crew who know what they are doing and were able to come up with solutions for every unique problem that this old house threw at them. I am thankful to have found such a great team. Charlie Etheridge and his “House Medics” will be the first people I will call in the future. Thanks guys,

Bathroom shower, plumbing and tile repair — major work. His team and he worked with exceptional professionalism and neatness, were incredibly punctual and finished the job on time, despite running into more damage thatn was seen before the wall was torn out. We had them back to fix the ceiling damage and replace an oven hood after a plumbing disaster. Absolutely top-notch. We would recommend Mr. Etheridge without reservation.
Mr Etheridge and his entire staff were amazing. So courteous, helpful, and went above and beyond to do this study area for my 8 year old daughter! They more than exceeded my expectations and I am so thrilled with everything! They are extremely professional, hard working and did everything that I had wanted and that we had spoken about ( even more). Charlie and his crew were extremely careful and fast. They did an excellent job and cleaned up after every day. This is what you expect from a good contractor. He understands what you expect and does his best to make you happy. I will be using him again.

Very well; Charlie is extremely professional and quite reasonable. The only problem is he books up quickly, the waiting list is often several weeks long.
Estimates for these two jobs were well under the other two companies I contacted. Charlie Etheridge, the business owner, was great. He gave excellent suggestions when I wasn’t sure of my decisions. Once the work began, the only delays were in shipping items. The work was completed promptly and professionally, and I was extremely pleased with the results. Beyond excellent! Very thorough and found some rotten wood that was repaired also. I would recommend The House Medic over anyone else for anything anytime.

I used Charlie’s services three times in the last 6 months, preparing my house for sale, and for fixing minor structural problems requested by the buyer. Charlie replaced fogged windows, laid slate tile, repaired or replaced front and rear deck boards and railings, repaired ceiling stipple and painted walls (in the MBR), and painted or stained his deck repairs to match the existing deck. Each project was done with care and precision. He set up his saw and measured/cut/painted the deck boards onsite. He brought in a tile specialist to help lay the slate tile (and matched the existing slate in an adjoining room). Clean-up was done at the end of each project.
